We are thrilled to announce the addition of our new Studio Manager, Jessica Sherrell. Jessica comes from a background in production and is a photographer in her own right. Her duties will include client relations and management of the day-to-day studio operations.
How did you get into photography?
My father owned a photography and video studio growing up. I suppose I’m following in his footsteps.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen on a photo shoot?
A bride crumbling to the ground and getting soaked in mud when they played the wrong song when she walked down the isle. It was an outdoor wedding on a farm and it had started to rain so the ground turned to mud. I will say it ended up being a very fun crazy wedding.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what camera would you take with you?
A Holga, that’s easy. It’s a medium format film camera. It’s plastic, it’s light, and produces dreamy photographs.
